Bazuki Perfumes makes premium perfumes and diffusers, using good ingredients and careful design. When they launched their new Aroma 360 diffuser range, they needed their Instagram and Facebook to look just as premium as their products — so they brought in IMI Advertising, a social media marketing company based in Ahmedabad, to handle it.

02 — Goals & Requirements

What the client needed.

01

A page that looks premium

Bazuki sells a premium product, so the Instagram and Facebook page also needed to look premium — not like a regular product-selling page.

02

Look different from other diffusers

Many diffuser brands were already posting similar photos. If Bazuki posted the same way, people would scroll past without noticing the difference.

03

Reach people beyond perfume buyers

Most of Bazuki’s followers were already perfume customers. A diffuser is a home product too, so home & décor buyers needed to see it as well.

04

Content people actually notice

People scroll past hundreds of posts every day. If the content looked plain or repeated, it would get ignored — it needed to catch attention in a second.

05

Reach new people, not just followers

Only showing content to existing followers wasn’t enough. Ads were needed to show Bazuki to people who didn’t know the brand yet.

06

Actual sales, not just views

Views and likes look good, but the client needed people to actually visit the website and buy — that was the real goal.

03 — Obstacles We Faced

The difficulty.

The core challenge

A new product in an already crowded market.

Aroma 360 was a new diffuser range, launching into a market that already had many known brands. Nobody knew Bazuki as a diffuser brand yet, so trust had to be built from zero — on top of a problem every fragrance brand faces: you can’t smell a product through a screen.

01

New brand, old competition

Other diffuser brands already had years of reviews and repeat buyers. Bazuki was starting with none of that.

02

A smell can’t be shown in a photo

The main reason people buy a diffuser is how it smells — but a photo or video can’t show that. Buyers had to trust the brand first, before they could trust the fragrance.

03

People don’t buy a diffuser on impulse

It’s not a ₹200 product people buy without thinking. People wanted to see it being used in a real home before deciding to spend on it.

04

Instagram and Facebook users act differently

On Instagram, people scroll fast and move on quickly. On Facebook, people read more before clicking. The same ad couldn’t work the same way on both.

04 — Strategy & Execution

Our approach.

Three parallel workstreams — content, reels, and Meta Ads — designed to feed each other over six months.

Content Strategy

Shown in real rooms, not on white background

A diffuser on a plain white background looks like any other gadget. Placing it on a bedside table or in a living room helped people picture it in their own home.

Before & after, instead of just features

Listing specs doesn’t sell a feeling. So posts showed a room looking dull first, then calm and fresh after using the diffuser — the difference speaks for itself.

Real customer reviews made into posts

A new brand isn’t trusted right away. Turning genuine buyer reviews into posts let new visitors see that real people had already tried and liked it.

Short, bold text on every post

People look at a post for a second before moving on. Writing the message directly and clearly on the image meant it could be understood at a glance.

Reels Strategy

Starts with something interesting

Every reel opened with a line or a moment that makes people stop scrolling — the product came a few seconds later, not first.

Filmed for full screen

Reels were shot vertically, made to fill the whole phone screen, not resized from a normal photo or post.

Shown in everyday moments

Reading before bed, working from home, a quiet evening — the diffuser shown being used in daily life, not just displayed.

Posted every week, without a gap

A new reel went up every week so the page kept showing up in people’s feeds instead of going quiet.

Meta Ads Strategy

Different ads for each app

Instagram ads were short reels and stories. Facebook ads were longer videos with more text — because people use the two apps differently.

Some ads for reach, some for clicks

Every week, the ads were checked. Ones that weren’t working were stopped, and the budget moved to the ones that were.

Month 1–6

Content and ads ran together, from day one

Posts, reels and Meta Ads were not staged one after another — all three started in the same month and ran side by side for the full 6 months, with content feeding the ads and ad results shaping the next round of content.
